• Curating and installing art in The Adell McMillan and the EMU Aperture galleries on the University of Oregon’s campus

• One on one design critique and portfolio review session with Jermaine Tolentino, Product Line Manager who specializes in Jordan shoe collaborations

• Touring the Nike campus, including the Serena Williams and Michael Jordan buildings

• Learning about the design processes in relation to sustainability and use of materials along with a tour of the Nike materials library and design studios

 

Deadstock Coffee x Adidas x Nike Footwear Workshop (Portland, OR) | Student Designer | February 27, 2024

• Hosted by Ian Williams, owner of Deadstock Coffee and former Nike footwear developer in collaboration with Esaie Witherspoon, Senior Product Manager at adidas and Jermaine Tolentino, Product Line Manager at Nike

• Discussing the breakdown of the process of creating footwear from start to finish and marketing surrounding the release

• Deconstructing and analyzing components of Nike and Adidas sneakers
